Opportunities for Engagement
The World Affairs Council of Jacksonville, formed in 1985 as the National Interest Forum, joined the World Affairs Councils of America in 1995. Transformed from a modest speaker series, it now includes two flagship speaker programs: the Global Issues Evenings and Global Business Luncheons. Leveraging its reputation and resources to enrich K-20 education, the Council exposes students and teachers across Northeast Florida to timely topics and world class speakers in interactive settings. Additionally, the Council offers unique international travel opportunities, organized and run by the World Affairs Council of Philadelphia, to worldwide destinations with access to experts who provide behind the scenes views and briefings.
