Thinking beyond our borders
The Young Professionals of the World Affairs Council of Jacksonville hosts an International Trivia night at the North Beach Bistro occasionally from 6:30-9:00 p.m. Join our mailing list to receive monthly emails highlighting these and other young professional events.
These events are open to the general public and both members and non-members are encouraged to attend. Enjoy stimulating conversations, globally-minded people, and beer, wine and food specials. The winning team wins $100 worth of gift certificates to the North Beach Bistro. Examples of trivia topics include: international film locations, current events, wonders of the world, geography, international pop culture, world religions and more.
Logistics
Teams of FOUR compete, testing their knowledge of world affairs while networking with other Young Professionals. Don’t have a team of four? Don’t worry! You can join a team when you arrive. If you want to compete, arrive by 7:00 p.m. There are five rounds of five questions and the competition lasts for approximately an hour and a half. Paper and pens provided. Don’t forget- the winning team will take home four twenty-five dollar gift certificates to the North Beach Bistro!
