Ambassador
Marilyn McAfee Scholarship
The
World Affairs Council of Jacksonville announces its annual
Ambassador Marilyn McAfee Scholarship.
The $1,200 academic merit scholarship will be awarded to a
sophomore or junior currently attending Edward Waters College,
Jacksonville University or the University of North Florida.
To
be eligible for this award, students must:

Be a full-time student (Florida
residency NOT required)
·
Have a university GPA of at least 3.5 on a 4.0 scale
·
Demonstrate strong written and oral communication skills; academic
excellence
·
Academic program and/or future interests must include pursuing a career
in international business, government, foreign or military service
Application
deadline: January 15,
2008. Finalists
will be notified by March 1
and will participate in a panel interview with members of the World
Affairs Council including Ambassador McAfee.
The scholarship winner will be notified by April
1, 2008.

forums in Northeast Florida, the World Affairs Council of
Jacksonville is a non-profit, non-partisan, educational organization
